Canada’s Leading Current Affairs Brand Makes its Radio Debut with Maclean’s on the Hill on 1310News

 
      Led by Maclean’s political heavyweights Paul Wells, John Geddes, and Aaron Wherry, the new radio show brings political theatre to life
Maclean’s on the Hill airs Saturdays at 10 a.m. and Sundays at 8 a.m. on 1310News, with a podcast available on Macleans.ca,  CityNews.caand all Rogers Radio news and talk stations across Canada
 
OTTAWA (March 18, 2014) Well-connected, witty, analytical, and sometimes a bit ruthless, Maclean’s esteemed panel of political journalists Paul Wells, John Geddes and Aaron Wherry – are about to bring their fresh, informative, and inside take on federal politics to a whole new medium. Starting this Saturday, March 22 at 10 a.m. ET on 1310News, Maclean’s on the Hill will offer Canadians the scoop from inside Parliament doors, featuring interviews with the country’s biggest newsmakers and commentary and analysis of the week in Canadian politics.
 
Following the radio broadcast, Maclean’s on the Hill will also be available via podcast through CityNews.ca (Toronto), and websites across Rogers Radio’s news and talk stations including 1310News (Ottawa), 680News (Toronto), News1130 (Vancouver), 660News (Calgary), News95.7 (Halifax), and 570News (Kitchener).

During the one-hour political talk show, listeners will hear from Ottawa Bureau Chief John Geddes, who has covered federal politics and policy for more than two decades; Political Editor Paul Wells, with his fresh, funny, and authoritative voice; and Associate Editor Aaron Wherry, who covers the House and its 308 residents. Maclean’s On The Hill will be hosted by Cormac MacSweeney, Parliament Hill reporter for CityNews and Rogers news and talk radio stations across the country.
