City Prime-time Programming Highlights: Monday, August 4 to Sunday, August 10

– In beautiful Tulum, Mexico, some of the Bachelor franchise’s most memorable contestants get a second shot at love, in the series premiere of Bachelor in Paradise

– The quarterfinals continue as the next 12 acts take the stage in hopes of advancing this week on all-new episodes of America’s Got Talent –

Monday, Aug. 4:

Bachelor in Paradise (s/ABC): 8 p.m. ET/PT, 9 p.m. MT, 7 p.m. CT

**Season Premiere**

Twenty-five of The Bachelor’s most memorable contestants are back and looking for a second chance at love in beautiful Tulum, Mexico. The series begins with 14 former cast members — eight women and six men — hoping to turn a potential summer fling into the real thing. With an uneven number of men and women in the group, the two women left without roses are immediately sent home. Then, just as potential couples start to pair up, everything drastically changes as two new men or women – alternating each week – join the group. It’s a constant love shuffle where surprise arrivals can rekindle old romances, spark new ones, or splinter existing love affairs.

 

Tuesday, Aug.5:

America’s Got Talent (s/NBC): 9 p.m. ET/PT, 10 p.m. MT, 8 p.m. CT

“Quarter Finals 2”

The next 12 acts take the spotlight as celebrity judges Heidi Klum, Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, and Mel B weigh in on the competition. Nick Cannon hosts.
