How I Met Your Mother (s/ CBS): Monday, March 21 at 8pm ET/PT (7CT, 9MT) **New Day and Time**
When Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) finally meets his father Jerry (John Lithgow, Dexter), he's surprised to learn how his life turned out. Meanwhile, the gang points out each other's "gaps," something they should know by adulthood but never learned. Nancy Travis (The Jane Austen Book Club) guest stars as Cheryl, Jerry’s wife.

The Event (s/NBC): Monday March 21 at 9pm ET/PT (8CT, 10MT)
“Message Back”
Thomas (Clifton Collins, Jr.) summons Sophia (Laura Innes), Diane Geller (guest star Gabrielle Carteris, Beverly Hills, 90210), and the other Sleepers to reveal the contents of the game-changing message he received. With newfound intensity, President Martinez (Blair Underwood) confronts Vice President Ray Jarvis (Bill Smitrovich) about his betrayal. Sean (Jason Ritter) blackmails Vicky (Taylor Cole) into helping him on a mission of vengeance. Elsewhere, Dempsey (guest star Hal Holbrook, Water for Elephants) continues on his hunt for experimental subjects.

Harry’s Law (s/NBC): Monday, March 21 at 10pm ET/PT (9 CT/ 8MT)
“Send in the Clowns”
Harry (Kathy Bates) helps an old boyfriend, Marty Slumach (Richard Kind, Spin City), try an armed robbery case, but she has trouble mounting a defense for the accused because she doubts his innocence. Meanwhile, Adam (Nate Corddry) represents Amanda Knox (Jai Rodriguez, Queer Eye) who is abruptly fired from her gig performing at a local bar when the owner’s wife finds out that Amanda was having an affair with her husband.

The Biggest Loser: Couples (s/NBC): Tuesday, March 22 at 8pm ET/PT (7CT, 9MT)
This week - one eliminated contestant returns and the remaining players are split into four teams: red, blue, green and black. Each team will be led by one of the four trainers – Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels, Cara Catronuova and Brett Hoebel. Bob takes his team to spin class while Jillian takes hers to work out at the beach, Brett leads his group on a hike and Cara heads to a boxing ring where one of her players will fight against a longtime boxer. Then gameplay at the weigh-in doesn’t turn out the way one contestant expects, and another player is sent home.

Modern Family (s/ABC): Wednesday March 23 at 9pm ET/PT (8CT, 10MT)
“Boys Night”
Luke's (Nolan Gould) friendship with a curmudgeonly neighbor (Philip Baker Hall, Magnolia) makes Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowan) think; Jay (Ed O’Neill) tries to get out of a concert with Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) but winds up with Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) on a night out with their friends.

Community (s/NBC): Thursday, March 24 at 8pm ET/PT (7CT, 9MT)
“Critical Film Studies”
Capitalizing on Abed’s (Danny Pudi) love of cinema and pop culture, Jeff (Joel Mchale) plans a very special “Pulp Fiction” style surprise party for Abed’s birthday. The tables turn, however, and while the study group awaits their arrival at a restaurant, Abed stages another dinner with an unsuspecting Jeff at another restaurant.

Perfect Couples (s/NBC): Thursday, March 24 at 8:30pm ET/PT (7:30CT, 9:30MT) **Time Change**
“Perfect Lies”
Julia (Christine Woods) plans a quiet bachelorette party for Amy (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) in Vancouver, however Amy has failed to tell her childhood friend that Julia is the maid of honour. At the bachelor party, Vance (David Walton) hopes to have a special moment with his friends while Dave (Kyle Bornheimer) tries to impress the guys with his camping skills. Rex (Hayes MacArthur) and Leigh (Olivia Munn) can’t bear to spend one night apart.

Parks and Recreation (s/NBC): Thursday, March 24 at 9:30pm ET/PT (8:30CT, 10:30MT)
Leslie (Amy Poehler) takes the whole department camping in order to brainstorm new ideas. Meanwhile, Andy (Chris Pratt) attempts a romantic gesture for April (Aubrey Plaza), while Ann (Rashida Jones) gets nervous when Chris (Rob Lowe) returns to Pawnee as the new city manager.

30 Rock (s/NBC): Thursday, March 24 at 10pm ET/PT (9CT, 8MT)
“Plan B”
Liz (Tina Fey) tries to reassure her staff that the show's forced hiatus is temporary, but everyone starts to focus on their fallback plans. Meanwhile, Jack (Alec Baldwin) attempts to salvage a cable network by enlisting his nemesis, Devin Banks (guest star Will Arnett, Arrested Development).

Who Do You Think You Are? (s/NBC): Friday, March 25 at 8pm ET/PT (7CT, 9MT)**Returns**
“Steve Buscemi”
Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), a man who has played his share of shady characters in his career, sets off on a trail to find similar real life dark figures in his own family. His search leads him to his maternal great great grandfather, a questionable character that had a tarnished Civil War record and other secrets. Steve’s journey will take him from New York to Philadelphia and from the battlefields of Virginia to the Union ports of the Potomac River in search of his illusive ancestor.

Fringe: Friday, March 25 at 9pm ET/ PT (8CT, 10MT)
“Blood Line”
The intensity of life “over there” accelerates as Olivia (Anna Torv) finds herself in mortal danger.

Secret Millionaire: Sunday, March 27 at 8pm ET/PT (7CT, 9MT)
“Gary & Diane Heavin”
As the CEO and co-founder of the health club empire Curves International, husband and wife Gary and Diane Heavin will leave their thousand-acre ranch in Texas to assume new lives looking for deserving people who need their help. Their destination is Houston’s destitute “Third Ward,” home to one of the highest crime rates in the nation and where 20% of the residents live in extreme poverty. Gary and Diane will spend six days living in a typical one-bedroom, and they will have to survive on $6.50 per day each. While in the “Third Ward,” the Heavins discover three exceptional organizations working to make a difference in the impoverished community. They will have to search their hearts to decide who to help and how much to donate to their efforts.
