“Last year's program was so well-received by our viewers, we have expanded the program to four episodes, which capture the search and showcase the 12 charismatic finalists, any of whom would be a welcome addition to the world of modeling,” commented Robert Lawlor, Executive Producer, Non News Programming, Citytv.

Citytv is your all access pass as FORD Models, the world’s most prestigious fashion talent agency, sends its top scouts across the country in search of the next fresh face who will represent Canada in the global final of FORD Models Supermodel of the World competition. Co-hosted by Citytv on-air personality, Dina Pugliese (Breakfast Television), and TeenFlare.com editor, Laura Lanktree, the search kicked off in Toronto making stops in Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, meeting thousands of hopefuls. From the tears to the triumphs, find out which of the 12 contestants stood out among the rest.

Episode 2 (September 12) finds the Top 12 descending upon Toronto. There, they meet industry experts from Maybelline New York, Redken and Diesel, who coach them in the areas of make-up, hair, and wardrobe. The episode concludes with an exotic photo shoot in the middle of a downtown hotel lobby. At the end of the episode, eight of the young hopefuls advance to the next round and for four of the young contestants their journey comes to an end.

Episode 3 (September 19) finds the Amazing Eight back in Toronto where they are put through their paces with fitness and nutrition experts and learning to walk like Supermodels on the catwalk. Their photo assignment is a salute to the 30 years of FLARE magazine. At the end of this episode, only 6 contestants will be moving forward to our LIVE finale at Citytv’s new state-of-the-art production facility in the heart of downtown and one hopeful will be named FORD Models Supermodel of the World Canada.
