CANADA’S GOT TALENT ANNOUNCES ROGERS CENTRE AS VENUE FOR TORONTO AUDITION DATES, SEPT. 27 TO 30
(TORONTO, ON, August 24) - The search is underway for Canada’s most talented performers, with the world-famous Rogers Centre being announced today as the Toronto destination on the national audition tour. As the fifth stop on the six-city tour, Rogers Centre will host the Canada’s Got Talent Audition Tour, September 27 to 30 with doors opening at 8 a.m. ET.
Canada’s Got Talent will be broadcast on Citytv in Spring 2012.
“Toronto is the most diverse city in the country, and we expect lots of great acts,” said Ed Robinson, Executive Producer, Rogers Broadcasting. “Rogers Centre is a world-class facility and is the perfect location for world-class performances by Toronto’s elite.”
Acts of any age are welcome to sign up and audition in what promises to be the most exciting talent search in Canadian history.
“We want to see Toronto’s best jugglers, acrobats, contortionists, magicians, dance crews, singers and musicians,” said John Brunton, Executive Producer, Insight Productions. “If you have a special talent to share, we want to see it!”
Toronto is the fifth stop on a nationwide audition tour, following Winnipeg, Edmonton, Vancouver and Montreal, and preceded by Halifax. Canada’s Got Talent is the chance of a lifetime for Canada’s talented individuals or groups, the opportunity to make their dreams come true!
