(Toronto –Friday, September 9, 2011) As summer sizzles to an end, Citytv’s hottest summer series are wrapping up their seasons with dramatic and surprising conclusions. During the dramatic finale, host Chris Harrison conducts a candid, exclusive interview with Ben Flajnik, in his first public appearance as the new Bachelor.

Averaging more than 1.4 million viewers each episode, proven fan favourite America’s Got Talent comes to an end as the country’s top act is chosen. On Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 9pm ET/PT/MT (8CT), the final four acts perform live in Hollywood one last time. In the eagerly-awaited, three-hour season finale of Bachelor Pad, the four remaining couples — Vienna and Kasey, Michelle and Graham, Ella and Kirk and Holly and Michael — are summoned to Las Vegas to compete in the most daring competition in Bachelor Pad history. They will have 24 hours to master a terrifying Cirque du Soleil routine that takes professionals six months to learn. The couple with the best performance – as judged by the panel of Bachelor alumni including Trista Sutter, Jason Mesnick and Ali Fedotowsky – receives roses and a guaranteed place in the finale. The lowest-scoring couple will be sent home empty-handed. Next, the final three couples return to Los Angeles, where the winners of the challenge decide who will join them in the finale. All the former housemates of this season are reunited to vote for which of the final two pairs deserves the $250,000 grand prize.

During the finale, Ben Flajnik speaks to Chris Harrison about his quest for love in the upcoming season of The Bachelor. Earlier this summer, millions of viewers shared Ben’s heartbreak when his proposal to Ashley Hebert was rejected in the emotional finale of last season’s The Bachelorette. Now, Ben is ready to put all the disappointment behind him as he moves forward with his search for the right woman to be his wife. The next edition of the hit romance reality series, The Bachelor, returns to Citytv in January 2012.

Next week, America’s Got Talent comes to an end with the final four acts – Team iLuminate, POPLYFE, The Silhouettes and Landau – performing for the final time in hopes of winning the $1 million prize and the opportunity to headline a show in Las Vegas. Then, in the live, two-hour season finale, special surprise guest stars will perform throughout the night before host Nick Cannon reveals who America has chosen as its favourite act.

Fans of the Got Talent franchise can now look forward to the launch of Citytv’s new original series, Canada’s Got Talent, coming to the prime time schedule in Spring 2012.
