In each of the 13 episodes, Deals from the Dark Side invites viewers on a quest to hunt, buy and authenticate dark relics. Santini scours North America looking for rare, unusual and tragic objects connected to iconic events and infamous people long since passed. A Titanic deck chair, Jack the Ripper’s knife and a monk’s cloak from the Spanish Inquisition are objects that have helped to fulfill Santini’s burning quest to understand the dark side of humanity. Along with his trusted sidekick, Biker Rob, and his brilliant researcher, Stef, Santini enters a world few people dare to explore.

“Deals From the Dark Side is an intriguing and innovative new series that fits in perfectly with OLN’s intense entertainment programming, commented Claire Freeland, Director of Development and Production, Rogers Media Television. “Steve Santini is a unique and engaging personality that the OLN audience will love.”

In the first episode (Titanic Deck Chair), Santini is approached by a seller who claims to have an authentic deck chair from the ill-fated Titanic. If it’s real, this will be the find of a century for Santini, a Titanic aficionado. His wild, investigative journey includes speaking with a series of experts finishes off with a trip to the world famous Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri, where Santini compares two chairs side by side. Then, Santini and his crew stop in at a packed antique market to check out a creepy funerary keepsake and an authentic Tyburn gallows noose.

A Titanic historian and longtime collector, Santini has been named the “World’s Most Extreme Escape Artist” by Ripley’s Believe it or Not!. His unique obsession with pain and death, along with taking part in hundreds of death-defying escapes, has given him insight into the darker side of the human condition.
