(Toronto – Thursday, October 27, 2011) Citytv brings sports fans closer to the action Sunday by kicking off the highly-anticipated Buffalo Bills vs. Washington Redskins game at Rogers Centre with the Boston Pizza Tailgate Show on Citytv. Hosted by CityNews sports anchor Hugh Burrill and Sportsnet 590 The FAN’s Barb DiGiulio stationed live at the Rogers Centre, the Boston Pizza show will feature pre-game preps from CityNews sports anchor Kathryn Humphreys from Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo. Fans are invited to get into the action and join Breakfast Television’s Jennifer Valentyne, along with football Hall of Famer’s Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas, at the Boston Pizza at Front St and John St during the pre-game show, airing Sunday, Oct. 30 at 3:30pm – 4:00pm ET live on Citytv. The Bills vs Redskins games will broadcast live on Citytv and Sportsnet immediately following the pre-game special.


Live, multiplatform coverage of the Bills vs. Redskins match-up on Sportsnet East and Citytv on Sunday, Oct. 30 begins at 4pm ET. Sportsnet 590 The FAN gives fans an hour-long pre-game show hosted by Greg Brady and Jim Lang at 3pm ET, followed by live coverage of the game. David Alter will have updates throughout the day, including a full post-game report. In addition, feeds poolies with a day-long fantasy NFL chat with Sportsnet 590 The FAN’s Zach Cosby, and recaps the Bills and Redskins tilt right after Sunday’s game with columnist Stephen Brunt. Wrapping up the action, Sportsnet Connected reporter Tony Ambrogio has full post-game reaction on the primetime edition of Connected.


With the fan frenzy raising to a fever pitch to gain access to the once a year experience, Radio stations like Kingston, Ont.’s KRock 105.7 jumped in on the growing excitement for the game with the“Cut The Crap”contest that invited listeners to dig through a pool of Buffalo dung for a chance to win a VIP experience of theBills vs. Redskins game. Showing her willingness to go whatever it takes for football, contest winner Nicole Norman - a Kingston-native and mother of three - has gained international attention as the video as gone viral across North American.


Tailgaters looking for great music, food, prizes, giveaways and interactive elements – including the Bills Toronto Series mechanical buffalo – can also tap into the Budweiser Tailgate, headlined by Juno award-winning Canadian rockers Finger Eleven. The Budweiser Tailgate begins at 11am and runs until 3:30pm on game day and provides an experience that stretches from east to west, north to south in the area surrounding Rogers Centre.
