(Vancouver, December 13, 2011) Breakfast Television is lending a helping hand to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society by inviting viewers to take part in their Food Bank Friday. This Friday, Dec. 16 during Breakfast Television’s regular broadcast time from 5:30am to 9am, viewers can drop off non-perishable food items and cash donations at the food bank ‘drive thru’ behind the Citytv studios at 180 West 2nd Avenue.
Viewers can stay cozy in their cars while Citytv staff receives their donations and hands out prizes from local sponsors including Tropicana, The Shopping Channel, Home Depot, Fruits & Passion, as well as movie sponsors Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and New Year’s Eve.
