CALGARY’S FIRST CITYTV NEW YEAR’S BASH KICKS OFF 2012 WITH STELLAR STAR LINEUP

(TORONTO – December 29, 2011) For the first time in its 27-year history, the Citytv New Year’s Bash will include a two-hour live broadcast event from Calgary on December 31. The city’s inaugural bash features a white-hot lineup of entertainers ringing in 2012 with a bang at Olympic Plaza beginning at 10pm MT. The Calgary telecast will follow Toronto’s live broadcast beginning at 8pm MT on Citytv.
The Citytv New Year’s Bash in Calgary boasts a stellar roster of performers including Canadian country sensation George Canyon, award-winning Canadian band Down With Webster, R&B artist Raghav, and multi-platinum selling artist Alyssa Reid. Plus, Breakfast Television’s Ted Henley, Tara Slone, Jill Belland and Andrew Schultz will host Calgary’s first national broadcast of the year-end event.
