TORONTO (September 4, 2012) –  As festival frenzy descends on Toronto, Rogers Media grants audiences an all-access pass to the must-see moments of the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).  With Canada’s most diverse roster of leading entertainment media brands, viewers, listeners, and readers can experience even more intimate, unscripted, unforgettable, and unexpected moments.
From movie enthusiasts to celebrity spotters, Rogers Media’s premier suite of news and entertainment brands are providing fans multiplatform coverage of this year’s can’t-miss TIFF festivities from September 6 to 16.  
Viewers can wake up to Breakfast Television, Toronto’s #1 morning show, for the day’s first scoop on all the late-night events. Tune in on Friday, Sept. 7 at 5:30 a.m. as Breakfast Television swaps the Citytv studio for the glamour of Ritz-Carlton Toronto where co-host Dina Pugliese broadcasts live from TIFF central. Pugliese will dish on the opening night gala, red carpet hits and misses, best restaurants for celebrity-spotting, and a sneak-preview of the most anticipated films with Cameron Bailey, Artistic Director of TIFF.
With more than 30 years of covering one of the world’s most influential film festivals, Cityty continues to bring viewers even more exclusive celebrity interviews, live reports from the most-anticipated red carpets, and breaking celebrity news at this year’s TIFF. 
All entertainment, all the time –from Soho House to Roy Thomson Hall, and Shangri-La to the Ritz-Carlton Toronto, Citytv’s dedicated TIFF team -- Mary Kitchen, Dina Pugliese, and Melanie Ng – will report from the scenes, keeping viewers up-to-date on all festival happenings. This year, TIFF shines the spotlight on South Asian cinema with the world premieres of Deepa Mehta’s Midnight’s Children and English Vinglish starring Sridevi. 680NEWS AND KISS 92.5:
Toronto’s only all-news radio station, 680News will keep listeners informed throughout TIFF with reports from entertainment editor Gloria Martin and music reporter, Rudy Blair.
